About

Mission

It is the mission of the Cameron Public Library to provide library materials and services that fulfill the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the citizens of Cameron and the surrounding area.

Free and reliable access to information and cultural resources is a right of citizenship in a democracy and fundamental to its preservation.

The library’s primary function will be as a popular materials collection (in various media formats), independent learning center, and children’s gateway to reading.

Cooperation with other libraries and agencies to provide library services to area residents is encouraged.
